This week, Elmezzi Staff were invited to to attend the culmination event for the AileyDance Kids Residency at P.S. 17Q in Astoria.  87 4th graders performed the array of dance styles and routines they worked on over the 8-week residency with an Alvin Ailey dance instructor. The auditorium was filled with an enthusiastic audience of fellow students, parents, and staff. The students passion and engagement was clear throughout the performances, and the exciting new skills and confidence they learned during the residency showed.
