As we welcome in the spring, we are excited to announce that yet another group of Dreamers from our “I Have A Dream” Foundation – NY: Ravenswood II program are graduating high school this year and selecting colleges to attend. One such Dreamer, Deja Daniels was featured in Metro as she was one of 4,000 students that, for her hard work and academic success, was able to meet First Lady Michelle Obama!

The event was part of Obama’s Reach Higher education initiative and attendees had the opportunity to “sign” their college of choice. We are immensely proud of all of the work the Ravenswood II Dreamers have put into getting this far and we are very pleased to see their efforts being recognized, both by the larger Reach Higher initiative, as well as by our First Lady. Congratulations to Deja and all of the other Dreamers graduating with her!
