The Elmezzi Foundation recently funded an Alvin Ailey dance workshop for students at PS 234 in Astoria, Queens. The Queens chronicle picked up the story highlighting how more than 100 8-9 year old’s were given 48+ hours of in-school dance instruction. Their hard work culminated in a family fun night where students were able to show off their new moves and dance along with parents.
