The Elmezzi Foundation was recognized for its commitment to innovative healthcare initiatives and investment in the LIC and Astoria communities. The Times Ledger published an article that outlined how Elmezzi’s grant of $100,000 to Mt. Sinai Queens is allowing them to run an individualized, culturally sensitive population management health initiative. This initiative contributes to a model of preventative health care and is accessible to some of the most vulnerable communities in LIC and Astoria. Below, you can see our Executive Director Pooja O’Hanlon (R) and Executive Director of Mount Sinai Queens Caryn Schwab.
